A wise man once told me that you should spend half of your work day doing work, and the other half of the day learning. In an industry as ever changing and advanced as digital marketing is, this is a statement to live by.
There are nonstop updates we need to keep track of and adapt to, as well as a work flow that can change from month-to-month. With this ever-changing environment, we can’t just focus on the daily tasks and not dedicate time to further educating ourselves.
That’s why I created this list of resources that any skill level of SEO can benefit from. No, this is not a list of blog posts that we were asked to promote. This is a list of real resources made just for the SEO community. Some of these resources are designed to just to inform, while others are to teach, engage, and enhance the industry.
Take a look below at the many different types of resources that are available to SEO’s and see which ones you want to add to your Feedly calendar.
The SEO Community
One of the best resources to stay on track of the industry with is the actual SEO community. Fellow SEO’s are more often than not willing to help you answer your technical questions, show examples of what they’re going through, and discuss opinions about new updates and the future of SEO.
These are all conversations that you can follow along right from your social media pages. Plus, you get notifications when people post in groups or tweet updates so it’s not something you have to physically stay on top of. The information comes to you and in a conversational tone.
